Request To Follow-up On The Pentagon Surveillance Story I Just Sent.
Edited on Wed Dec-14-05 12:29 PM by DistressedAmerican
I just sent this information off to our local paper, the Albany Times Union, http://www.timesunion.com/.

====================================
Yesterday's report by NBC's Lisa Myers concerning Pentagon surveillance of American anti-war activists included a PDF file of records obtained by NBC regarding the observation of peace protesters. Listed in that document are two enteries regarding the investigation of anti-war protests at SUNY-Albany, one last March and the other last April.

I would appreciate the Times Union following up on this illegal tracking and observation of local peace protesters. This is an important national story and the local angle would be very interesting to hear more about.

The report and PDF can be found online at NBC's website:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10454316/

Please consider a follow-up article on this issue.

Thanking you in advance,
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Albany

==================================

We will see if they follow up. They are usually pretty good about such things.

No rest for the weary...

2. I just sent the info along to the group that organized the events.
I let them know I had contacted the paper and suggested that they do so as well. Exposing these illegal actions is the only way to make them end.

This is the group in question:

Hopefully they will push the issue.

4. Well, We Do What We Can. It Is Working.
If the feds think they have to keep tabs on us, we must be having some real effect. At least that is how I see it. Thanks for everything you do. :toast:

We will take this country back! I have no doubt about that.:pals:
