Mills-McCartney and Baldwin Shock TV Viewers with PETA Video
HOLLYWOOD - Heather Mills-McCartney and Alec Baldwin shocked American TV viewers on CNN on Sunday night when they debuted a horrific new dog and cat-skinning video. The two celebrities joined a panel
on Larry King Live to discuss China's inhumanities towards domestic pets.

And, as part of the show, Mills-McCartney showed a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) video, shot in a warehouse this summer.

The graphic video featured footage of dogs and cats, crammed into cages, being hurled from vans and being skinned alive.

The activist, who is married to Sir Paul McCartney, used the show to call for new worldwide regulations to make it illegal to skin animals alive for their fur.

3. I have started contributing to Peta
I wrote the media and senators about this of course to no avail,it will take a celebrity to get people to listen.

Isn't great to know that all the jobs have been outsourced to China and to buy something not made there is almost impossible.

5. good!
and can take it a step further than just not skinning the animals alive -- let's leave dogs and cats out of it.

i'm against fur period -- but i'm guessing that argument can't be won in EVERY country -- until we get fur consumption to cease.

10. if the masses running around with fur hoods
knew they were wearing a cat, would they continue to wear them.
Walmart has fur lined gloves, I am sure they would never stoop to such low practices.:sarcasm:

14. I couldn't watch. My kitties are my family .
I think this will get attention as they are targeting domestic animals. Americans especially get concerned about 'OUR" animals. We can't really relate to cattle and minks, but cats and dogs are another story! They are our children.

How people can be so cruel to animals...well I just can't understand.

Cuelty to any living being is unacceptable.

BTW, Alec Baldwin is amazing and I'm glad to see him front and center on this issue. He is consistently saying and doing the right thing. MKJ

23. THANK YOU!!!
Its about time this got some national exposure...This is completly disgusting and these animals DO NOT deserve to be treated like that. NO ANIMAL deserves to be treated like that!!

I have 3 Cats that I love more then just about anything else and I can not imagine them going through that horrid scene. I took my last Cat in from the street because I feared for his safety because of such things like that. I can not even watch that video, I know it will haunt me for a longtime and will just piss me off to no end. I also contribute to PETA and I incourage everyone to make at least a one time donation.

The Wal-Mart coats should be Faux fur and not real fur, not that I am defending Wal-Mart but I seriously doubt that its real fur. Wal-Mart has stores in China and I would like to see a campaign to get Wal-Mart to act on this issue..

25. You'd think the human race could agree not to skin animals alive
for their fucking fur no less.

You'd think we could all agree on that, wouldn't you?

Unimaginable agony, on a constant basis, all over the world, so some vain asshole can stroke his/her fucking ego in a mirror.

I wish, my God, I pray, that the people that create this kind of evil would at once find themselves in the same situation, expericing the same torture, the same brutal, merciless murder. Whether those sadists in China or the cosmetic/fur manufacturers here or the inhumane factory farmers or the twisted fucks who torture the stray dog or cat for kicks, God please let them find themselves suddenly experiencing the exact same pain and agony they force onto these creatures.

And to the PETA bashers, go nuts over this like you do every time you see the name PETA, but realize, we wouldn't be talking about this, we wouldn 't even know, if not for them and the work they do. If just one innocent, defenseless animal is saved because of their work, it will have all been worth it.

29. Making "stuffed toy" cat and dogs out of real ones
I am NOT making this up.

A couple years ago I went to this woman acquaintance's home and she showed me this stuffed toy kitten that she had bought, in part because it was sooooo lifelike.

I didn't have the heart to tell her but the reason that it was sooooo lifelike was because this "stuffed toy" kitten was obviously made from REAL cat fur!
