has anyone else noticed that the number of posts on DU...

...is currently in the range of 10,000 or so per day? Would one of the mods care to provide a more accurate mean daily statistic? That sounds like a lot of traffic to me. Can anyone comment about how that compares to other political web sites?

But a post is a post - unlike registered users, some of whom never post, a post is a post. If the thing equates to 10,000 posts a day, I guess that's it. Given that some members do dozens of posts a day, and obviously others don't, I don't think it's unrealistic for a site of this size.

There's a lot of traffic on this site. Refresh the latest page every few seconds, and it's always changing.

3. yeah, I meant admins, not mods...

...as in Skinner, EarlG, or Elad. I presume the stats are available. I'm just amazed at how fast that post counter is going up.
