I am so very tired of reading the "news" and thinking "well....no shit."

No shit. I don't know a goddamned thing about planes, but even I could figure this out.

"No weapons of mass destruction in Iraq."

No shit.

"Housing Bubble Deflating."

No shit.

"Loss of jobs."

No shit.

Other news: it's cold as a motherfucker, the economy sucks, gas is expensive, and nobody can afford to heat their homes this winter--nobody.

No shit.

I don't mind the temp to be a little cool inside the house. I just bundle up and tell MMjr to go put his sweats on.

But it's barely broken 30 degrees here. Can't imagine how it is to pay for heat in a region that has zero-to-teens temps. :scared:

Lots of people getting rid of propane systems here in Montana. The gas is one thing, then there is the cost of getting it to one's tank and THAT's going up faster!

News headlines across the US should just read: "Everything Shitty, Few Give A Shit" details, page2.

But the papers are so full of happy horseshit, we have to read about Bush's "uptick" and "progress" in the shitstorm of Iraq and our growing yet somehow still shitty economy.

We get to see Bush's shit-eating grin on the cable "news"
outlets as he flings shit at anyone who points out the shit has hit the fan for him. But still, he keeps serving up the same re-heated bullshit on what a great leader he is.
