Except for the fact that Choo En Ting underwent three operations in three years at the National Heart Institute.
Weighing only 1.6kg when born, En Ting has a hole in her heart, and the blood vessels to her lungs are blocked.
Her health condition is not getting any better. Apart from a pale complexion, her fingers turned purple a year ago.
En Ting’s mother Tan Hai Lian, 36, said: "The paediatrician said my daughter’s lungs and heart could not deliver enough oxygen to the whole body, causing her to experience shortness of breath all the time and the purple fingers."
