Edited on Thu Dec-15-05 11:04 PM by goclark
This was posted at DU earlier in the week but the Enquirer puts "Lil Jenna in the spotlight again.

Dec. 26 issue
Secret Service Launch Probe

Poor Jenna, she reportedly "lost her wallet containing $1,000 in cash, as she fled the sleazy advances of a drug pusher."

'Lil Jen was at a bar called "Happy Ending."

Edit to quote the age of "Lil Jen ~ ""24 year old graduate"

10.  At 24 , she should be smart enough to

carry a Visa or stick the money in her bra.

Something is wrong with this story ~

I wonder if "Lil Scottie will tell us how she had that much in her possession because she was on her way to a Katrina Fundraiser.

I wonder if Chelsea ever needed to carry $1000 in cash into a bar.

Most ladies do exactly the opposite.
How much money do you need for even 5 drinks?

Ever heard of Visa?
Where was the Secret Service, can't they carry her money for her?

Now that the all mighty VISA card is so popular, why in the world would any one, especially a young woman in New York, be carrying $1000 in cash?

Huuum,Onward Christian Values!

Who was with this young lady?

Couldn't her date or friends each buy a round of drinks?

So many questions and of course we'll get no answers from Scottie.

There could only be one reason she had that much cash ~ Bloomingdale's was closed.

No one has yet to tell us where the Secret Service was that night.

Suppose some terrorists had tried to grab her or something? They could hold her for billions of $$'s and the US would have breached some serious Homeland Security.

G. Diddy would have to demand that we spy on his daughter's cell phone without permission from the Court.

What a mess that would be.

34. "Doting Teacher"
"Jenna has tuned her attention to Washington's Hispanic Mount Pleasant neighborhood, coteaching second graders at the highly regarded Elsie Whitlow Stokes Community Freedom Public Charter School. And, we're hearing, the University of Texas English major is wowing folks at the school, which teaches English along with Spanish or French. One example: Just last month, her second-grade class dropped into the neighborhood public library, marching quietly up to the second floor where there's a sprawling children's reading room. "It was great, and very sweet," recalls a librarian. "She was just a good teacher, and the kids were hanging all over her."

I also did not get fitted for a gown for my daddy's inauguration while other 23 year olds were being fitted for artificial arms and legs because of said daddy's immoral and illegal war. That's what I would call the ultimate hypocrisy.

I've looked at them in relation to various stories which I've followed with forum friends on the internet, over the past 4 years or so, and the Enquirer is quite often pretty close to the truth.

But yes, they can be wrong. BUT... in the case of Jenna, is it really so surprising, what they are reporting about her? It has the ring of truth.

investigators AND attorneys of any printed publication. The stories are fact checked and vetted to the "nth" degree. There have been few successful lawsuits against the Enquirer. Yes, it's cheesy. It's also got a great track record. If it appears in the Enquirer, it's more than rumor and innuendo.

And, as the poster below pointed out, the Enquirer has been far more informative than has the NYT, the alleged "paper of record"--which harbored fifth columnist Judith Miller, and which sat on the story of Bush breaking the law by spying on us.

64. Enquirer better watch out
They may find themselves getting Anthraxed. Happened before you know with that guy down in Florida that reported about one of the Bu$h twin's wayward ways.

Do you suppose the Secret Service was the one's that mailed that Anthrax back in 2001? This could explain why the FBI came-up empty when they tried to investigate the Anthrax attack on the political opponents of Bu$h. It would bring new meaning to protecting the 'interests' of the president. Do we now have a proletariat guard?

66. I thought that letter with a white substance

was sent because of some photographs they were going to publish.

I thought that I read that the Enquirer had some photos/stories about GW - no?
