A poem I wrote ...

All Anybody Knows

The rolling thunder crashes
as the trees all turn to ashes
and the fire rains upon us
like a pyro with his matches
and the sea will turn to stone
and stone to magma so pernicious
we're the fallen come to earth
and no one on earth can catch us

The sky is red with discontent
a thousand years of banishment
and tho you don't believe us now
this hell sear'd future we present
the boiling blood with raging fury
now you have just but one worry
that our fearsome time is come
and that to live you'll have to hurry

Our claws are dug deep in the ground
the power grasped and power found
and power found not given up
the powerless dont make a sound
'cause they have faded in the night
and we are might and therefore right
and always have been, always will
and even when we're wrong, we're still ...

What we say, well, that's what goes
and that's all anybody knows.

Take it to mean anything you like, but I had a certain group of people in mind when I wrote this. }(
