Remember when Richard Clarke was "just selling a book"?
His baseless attacks on our divine President were nothing more than a shameless promotion of his book (filled with lies) so he can buy an herbal oatmeal soap boutique (Only homos say "boutique"). I know all about it! That's what Fox News (God's own news channel) told me this, so it must be true. What a Lying, hypocritical liberal scumbag he is. Conservatives would never be so shameless as to do this.

2 weeks before Thanksgiving, I saw this at B&N...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1595230165/qid=1134748478/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/002-1474495-0528856?s=books&v=glance&n=283155

Now, I know that Gibson has help Bill O'Reilly sell his books on Faux, making "Living with Herpes" and "How to have hot sex using a falafel, For Kids" best sellers, but this is not a case of manufacturing a controversy just to sell books, because these guys are upstanding truth tellers on Fau...err...Fox News (God's own news channel), and could never be as shameless as that traitor who MERELY worked for 4 Presidents in the unimportant Counter-terrorism Dept. :sarcasm:

2. Talking about Clarke?
His new one is supposed to be "fiction". It's about a White House who sexes up intelligence to go to war in a country that had nothing to do with a terrorist act the US was a victim of.

Absolutely NOOOOOO basis in reality, of course.;)

4. Yep! Many DUers here say it's to throw red meat at the mouthbreathers..
to keep them faitful to the GOP, or a distraction from real newsso Cheney's gang can keep stealing. Those things are happening, and the Repugs certainly benefit from them, but this was all started by Oh'Really? and Gibson with the help of their 5 hours of daily airtime (Oh'Really's 3 hour radio paranoia-fest), to sell this book.

It's like killing 3 birds with one stone, and some pocket change to furnish their yachts.

9. Now THIS Is a Review
Good, but does not go far enough, December 16, 2005
Reviewer: M. J. Rink V (Raleigh, NC United States) - See all my reviews

I thought the book was a fair assesment of the war on Christmas, as I myself have witnessed Christmas Tree lots set ablaze and tie-dyed hippies stealing candy canes from children. I had long suspected this must be some kind of organized plot.

But Mr. Gibson does not address an issue that is much more important to me, and that is the plot to take the "Saint" out of Saint Nicholas. I am outraged at all the crass commercialism surrounding the good Saint. I've even seen department stores where you can have your children photographed with "Santa Claus". This is a direct assault on my Catholic upbringing and nothing is being done about this blasphemy. Christmas is not about commerce, but Jesus' message of helping poor people. I am sure a fine Christian such as Mr. Gibson will be delighted to donate all the proceeds to the Empty Stocking Fund.

10. Here's another one...
He gave it 5 stars.

this book is funny., December 15, 2005
Reviewer: David C. Lowery "Dick Cheney" (Richmond, VA USA) - See all my reviews

it's supposed to be funny right?
it's a big prank right? on CNN. Right?

I mean Bill O'Reilly is joking right? That thing Bill O'reilly said about the elementary shool in wisconsin changing the words to "silent night" that was really funny. he tricked CNN into doing a story on it too, and guess what CNN it wasn't true. Ha HA. what a prankster.

They also get one of their "anchors" to write this book in a way that 6th graders can understand it. So effin funny!
Making it seem like fundamentalist christians and right wing southerners are retarded or something, and you have to talk reeeaalllll ssssssllllloooow to explain things to them. Andy Kaufman and Bob Zamuda could not have done better.

ahhhh. Good ol' fox news. Not afraid to get politically incorrect for a good prank. i like this war on christmas thing, best prank in years.

But man o man Fox news better get their act in gear, there are references to "happy holidays" and "holiday season" all over there website. they're gonna give the joke away.

P.S
If only someone could figure out how to make some money off of this. That would be the funniest thing ever.

BTW i shoplifted this book.
