In my personal opinion, this plan is stopping at half measures.
Why don't we just erect a dome over the whole contiguous 48?
(Sorry Alaska and Hawaii, you're on your own.)
That way we get missile defense AND border protection in one neat package.
In fact, let's change the name of the organization to weneedadefense.com.
We can call it the BushDome.
Give the contract for building it to KBR/Halliburton.
Berlin Wall=bad.
