In addition to the other WH monkeybusiness, it's time to stop writing the blank checks, and take a look at those balances (and the interest!)

4. The checks and balances have been there since Sept. 17, 1787
That was the day the United States Constitution was approved by the then government of the United States and formally proposed to the states.

Senator Leahy, those checks and balances do no good whatsoever when Senators refuse to make use of them.
