Patriot act not renewed?!!

First time in awhile I've felt like America might not be totally lost. Sounds like hyperbole? Well, that's how I feel. Maybe not lost . I just had to share because FINALLY something seems right.

Not only did the Patriot Act go down in defeat, but the NYT revealed that the IDIOT has been playing DICTATOR since 2002 and gave his permission to SPY on U.S. citizens WITHOUT a court order and WITHOUT going through Congress. HE HAS BEEN EXPOSED AGAIN! Ah yes! It IS a GREAT DAY!:hi:

I tend to just try to not CARE too much anymore because I can't on some things. But here I am crying because this damn patriot act is the linchpin of the whole 9/11 swindle. And then on Yahoo the other headlines are "President relents,backs torture ban" and "Stepping back from torture, and the COUP DE GRACE~ "In an Awkward Dance, the President is forced to follow". WHY oh why did it take so long for just enough of our leaders to come to their senses?

I honestly thought I'd never see this day. Thank G-D they have seen the light and SOME of our newspapers are doing their jobs and I would be remiss if I didn't thank George Clooney for Good Night, and Good Luck. I think that movie just MAY HAVE shamed some journalists into doing the RIGHT THING. Just maybe?;)
