3. Let's take back Congress
THEN we can talk impeachment because it will be viable then. Get involved, stay involved, take back the House and the Senate in 2006.

5. They would need to get some repugs to join them
Or it will never go anywhere. They just don't have the numbers.

15. lying under oath- on something FAR more important than
a sexual affair.-

bush swore-

""I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

what is his defense? that his abilities weren't that competent? If so- then he must step down.
Is he NOT answerable to the CITIZENS of this nation? those of us who haven't got any lobbiests lining our pockets, or elections we want to 'guard'????

This is so frustrating- so incredibly frustrating.

7. If law and constitution are going to retain their traditional meaning
in this country, this matter must be properly investigated and impeachment must follow provided the allegations are true. Otherwise, all bets are off. It's make or break time.

10. No, the Democrats now in the House just don't have what
it takes to call for impeachment.

Can't see it happening unless the public get much more vocal about it.

12. Then they better get what it takes
and so should all the moderate repukes - surely they will need to answer to their constituency - surely there still remains a vestige of real patriotism among them -

If he gets away with this - kiss your asses goodbye for real

17. I'm on your side, but how many times have I heard
"If he gets away with this", only to see him "get away with it"?

11. Suspending the Constitution to spy on Americans is going to be
a big deal. It totally shitcanned the PA reauthorization, and will likely be a large brick in the wall of Bush's demise.

16.  Gerald Ford has the final word on this subject
"An impeachable offence is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history." - Gerald Ford, 1970

We need to get to work and take back the house in 2006. Come, we have work to do.

18. you should go back and read what Henry Hyde
said about why lying to the people of the nation is such a heinous crime- and requires impeachment-
I just read it- we have a host of quotes by the 'impeachers' to throw back in their faces-

and not for a blow job, but for blowing up human beings, and our constitutional rights-
