Swell! Yet Another LIEberman Photo-op With Repukes on Iraq...
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 04:37 PM by leftchick
Why the fuck doesn't he just become one? Carper doesn't count because anyone seeing this photo will not know him and assume he is another repuke.

.S. Senators (L-R) Tom Carper (D-De), John McCain (R-Az), John Thune (R-Sd) Joe Lieberman (D-Ct), Lindsey Graham (R-Sc) and Norm Coleman (R-Mn) gather to speak with the press outside the West Wing of the White House in Washington December 16, 2005, following a meeting on the Iraq election with U.S. President George W. Bush. Bowing to bipartisan pressure after months of resistance, Bush agreed on Thursday to back legislation proposed by Senator McCain to ban inhumane treatment of prisoners in U.S. custody. REUTERS/

1. Carper even had to INTRODUCE himself, like a reporter
"Tom Carper, Delaware" -- didn't even say he was a Dem. Noticed that Biden skipped this "lovefest" in favor of a one-on-one with Norah O'Donnell (good for him on that one).

4. I saw Lieberman on CNN coming out of the meeting and speaking
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 04:29 PM by leftchick
The meeting was about Iraq elections and how fabulous things will be now. That line in the caption is not related to today's meeting. McCain was the one who arm twisted the chimp this morning.

6. Here's more from your buddy to cheer...
Hartford-AP, Dec. 16, 2005 11:33 AM) _ After meeting with President Bush this morning, Senator Joe Lieberman reaffirmed his support for the Iraq war, saying the president's recent speeches do indeed add up to a "plan for success."

5. Lieberman is a traitor to the Democratic party
I strongly believe that he is the main reason for Gore not being President today. I believe he secretly worked with the repukes on stealing the election.I don't trust that two-faced scumbag and it's people like him that keeps dragging the Democrats down. I wish he would just GO AWAY!

9. Guess he needs more time in front of people. Ego?
More and more I am sure that congress is made up of 8 year olds. And I thought the guys at the WH acted up. The frat boys of the world have taken over the place.
