What if McCain and Lieberman ran on a ticket together?
What an awful possibility.

6. Not for me.
Both of them together? I can flush them both down the toilet with one checkmark on the ballot instead of two.

Kind of makes things easier.

Leiberman telling me to "get behind the President" for the next three years? I don't think so. Joe has forgotten that I can still support the troops at the same time I demand that the cooking of pre-war intel be investigated.

Joe has shifted a bit to far towards the faaaaaar right in his quest for votes.
John's moderate perspective looks like it was just show.

They deserve each other.

Although I do respect McCain for standing up against torture.

10. Lose
They would lose. Very few people from the left would vote for Lieberman especially if he ran on a ticket with McCain. More Republicans would vote for McCain, but that would not be enough for them to win.

16. I wonder if McCain is disliked as much by Republicans
as Lieberman is by Democrats.

11. You think so?
It would have to be a GOP ticket. Who would vote for that? Not me.

15. I'd slit my wrists........
because Americans would be stupid enough to elect a ticket like that. No integrity McCain and no backbone Lieberman. What a combination. Lieberman may as well run as a Republican, he aligns himself with them often enough.
