when gov't subverts the constitution, aren't they terrorists?

when the pentagon starts keeping a database of law abiding citizens and the NSA is tapping our phones w/o due process and we're locking folks up and not filing charges against them or allowing them access to counsel or contact with their families even; when we have to carry identification (papers please?) and poll taxes are making a come back, and we have to register our kids with the military so they can access the public education system; does that not make the government a terrorist organization?

i ask this in all serousness, because these things strike more fear into my heart than a thousand osama bin ladens.

1. Well, it's certainly unconstitutional -

and not for the good of the people. I would say fascists is a better word than terrorists though.
