Another frivolous lawsuit -- Trent Lott's
Sen. Trent Lott Sues Insurance Company

At least he picked a deserving target.

Just like God did back in September.

1. Sleazy grabby unwashed lowlife professional plaintiff!
Found some sleazeball ambulance-chasing lawyer to bring a suit so he can bother respectable white-shirted insurance people who have families to feed and vacation homes to keep up!

That's what's wrong with Amurica! Sheesh, don't ever serve any hot coffee to Ambulance-chaser Trent!

But for those of us that have been f*cked by our insurance companies and who have had our claims denied, this suit gives us some clout and plenty of hope.

I mean, come on, if he wins and they have to pay him, they will have to reconsider all of our claims or face thousands of plaintiffs, one at a time.

I hate to say it - but I finally agree with something Chester T. Lott has done.

And for the record, his attorney is his brother-in-law, a very rich and successful plaintiff's lawyer who made his fortune in the tobacco litigation.

Let them set the precedent, let them fight the way and the rest of us poor peasants will follow.

4. Little ironies, big blessings?
I have no doubt that the fix is in -- the company will settle out-of-court, and the next action will be a class action that is settled for pennies on the dollar.

Perhaps this is CTL's way of telegraphing the trouble ahead along with his demand for special treatment.

The day Trent Lott does something for "the little guy" is the day I'll see chickens dancing the Macarena on my ceiling.

But I could be wrong.

Hey, Trent Lott!
