1. Golly, that oughta do the trick!
Those errant bipartisan senators will hear Junior's speech and immediately
recognize the error of their thinking! It's a Christmas miracle!

;-)

2. BC didn't have the so called patriot act and foiled attempts at
terrorism on our soil just fine. Maybe having a good crew of COMPETENT persons and not just some appointed frat boy friends of yours really does make a difference.

3. And Who Will Be Listening?
Our local station used to carry Raygun's Saturday morning chit-chat...in a conservative, Repugnican community. When we did a survey, we found we lost over 75% of our listeners when he came on. I can only imagine how many dials are twisted, buttons pushed or radios attacked when asshat opens his pie hole.

I also hear the fukstick is planning a prime time address...primarily to address the critics who said he's not speaking in prime time. I love it. He'll piss people off by interupting their favorite Sunday Night shows and my bets are he'll say the same-old, same-old...giving us the wonderful opportunity to focus in on the inconsitencies, lies, distortions and malaprops.

Cheers...

4. It will be
But even if it isn't, the government will still do what they were doing. Last time I checked, these guys do not care. They do what they want, maybe get caught, but keep doing it. Those CIA flights to eastern Europe are still happening. We still torture people in Gitmo. Still use prisons in Iraq for our amusement. We're still in Iraq, with the defense contractors seeing billions in tax dollars fall into their laps. Iran-contra happened 20 years ago, and we still have hit squads. The government has been spying on people since they started a spy system, and they won't need the Patriot Act to do it. Legal, illegal, it doesn't matter to them. We lied our way into a few wars over the years, and we did it again in Iraq. It'll happen someday in the future as well. This won't be the last war. There will always be another war to fight. You don't invest half a trillion dollars in weaponry without planning on using them.

Patriot Act, no Patriot Act, it doesn't make a difference. They'll either be more open about it with a Patriot Act, or be even more secretive without one.

5. is there a plug that could turn off the nation's radios when the asshole
speaks today?

this is worse than a babe in a crib cying in the middle of the night for his bottle. at least with a babe in a crib crying for his bottle in the middle of the night, he stops crying after a while if you just don't give him the bottle, and he learns not to cry in the middle of the night.

with bush he hasn't learned to shut up about 911...every thing, any time he wants any thing is 9/11, 9/11, 9/11, blah, blah, blah, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11.

7. Bush will paint the Dems/those who oppose as soft on terror!--that is
how he won again. It worked then and work again--but lets hope enough have awoken from the their slumber.
