Interesting freep smackdown...not too hard, though.

I went grocery shopping yesterday at our local Kroger. I followed some women in a chevy loaded with Bush/Cheney stickers :eyes: into the parking lot and then into the store.

Well, you know how it is, when you enter the store at approximately the same time, you tend to be in the same 'shopping pattern'.

So, the younger of the two, about 35 says something to her companion while the three of us are standing in front of the wine selection about 'can you believe how low the President's approval rating is? What is wrong with people?"

So, me in my DU shirt, I respond, "No kidding. Worst President ever and 40% of the country still thinks he is doing a good job. Iraq is a mess, the economy sucks, the Katrina debacle and all his neocon spouting about Iran"

I roll my eyes, grab my wine and am just looking at the two of them. They were sort of stunned into silence.

I finish "What kind of a dumb ass still thinks that moran is good for anything?"


Then, I say. Have a nice Holiday and go about my shopping.

Feeling pretty good.
