10. I loved how he pointed out that
ANY majority party could USE this at anytime if they let it stand now. For those repugs with short site, that won't mean anything. But, for those that can see that they might just be counting the days that they will be the majority, that statement should send chills up their spines.

19. Indeed. SOME of them know they will pay
for this behavior/abuse of power when the Dems take back Congress in '06.....they should take heed.

quorum - The number of Senators that must be present for the Senate to do business. The Constitution requires a majority of Senators (51) for a quorum. Often, fewer Senators are actually present on the floor, but the Senate presumes that a quorum is present unless the contrary is shown by a roll call vote or quorum call.

I missed Reid. Did you see him yesterday? He looked as though he didn't feel well. I couldn't get to the computer to ask if anyone else thought the same. Did he look alright today?

24. Yes. There's no Senator on the floor right now. Usually, during the week,
C-SPAN plays music during a quorum call, but they aren't for this special session of Congress...for some reason. :shrug:
