Did anyone hear slobber mouth matthews last night
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 06:10 PM by buff2
when he said if bu$h pulled this war off and won peace all over the middle east he should be put on Mt. Rushmore? I swear,I wanted to shoot my TV into a million pieces. This is the most bizarre era I have ever lived in. Everything is so upside down and screwed up. I wish I could wake up one morning and find out that I had been in a serious coma for the last 5 years and this has all been just a horrible bad dream. No such luck. x(

I meant Friday night, not last night. :hi:

1. The "Chris Matthew's Show" is the most absurd program on TV
Edited on Sun Dec-18-05 06:16 PM by Stevendsmith
A pure wank propaganda fest for the DC cocktail weenie circuit. Matthews is a career hack who has a schoolgirl crush on Bush. These are sick people. I despise them all deeply.

6. Don't get me wrong. I watch it too. I'm sick that way.
Because it invariably drives my blood pressure up to dangerous levels.

2. I heard it and it put me in a funk for a few hours
Tweety says that crap, ignores 2100 American dead, perhaps 30,000 Iraq dead, all for a war with fake reasons. Tweety ought to have to go to Walter Reed every day and spend hours with soldiers who are no longer whole because of Bush's attempt to get on Mt Rushmore.
For eight years, the beltway whores called Clinton everything but a child of God, but now kiss so much chimpie ass that they have chapped lips.
Depressing! No other way to describe it.

5. Sad thing is,slobber mouth did go to Walter Reed.
He had a show about it.I guess it didn't phase him about the soldiers with lost limbs and eyesight or the ones who didn't make it at all. In Matthews eyes, chimp ass can do no wrong. It's pathetic.

7. I wouldn't accept that 30,00 figure for starters
just like I will never accept the ridiculous, asisnine, covered-up figures that they put out for the Katrina dead who died because of their incompetence.

3. heard him too
matthews isn't sure what he thinks. on some level he has to know that the odds of this mess in iraq going regional in any constructive way to win peace is 1M/1, like winning in Viet Nam (whatever that would have meant) could have dominoed the overthrow of communism throughout the east. the shame here is that he does know what is going on at the immediate level but is too jaded to see the big picture and too lazy (comfortable?) to think much about it. i heard him talking about the abramoff scandal, and he was definite how that mess could take down a huge hunk of congress (something to the effect, cause everybody does it). he also is fond of letting the admin supporters know that they are batting 0 for 4 on their war predictions, i think that's how he puts it. ---and then he runs off with some new admiration for how bush starts talking straight, odd disconnects as if he's judging a cake walk or something. it just may be he won't go deep, needs to keep it all at the sound bite level.
