VIDEO- Was Bush's speech pre-recorded?
This is a fluffy video clip. I watched the speech on Cspan/Satellite (Dish) and it skipped! It looked like it had been recorded before and skipped while it was playing (rather than being live. Wondering if it did the same on broadcast television. Even if it did, doesn't necessarily mean it was pre-recorded, as it might have been one feed going out to every station...

but it was still strange

1. Someone needs to fix the circuitry in the android.
His hands are flowing smoothly like a conductor conducting the Nutcracker Suite, but the circuitry to his voice has a short in it. His neck circuitry also needs adjusting, as there appears to be no natural movement.

Shiny, shiny desk, makes me sleepy, makes me want to beeee----leeeeeev.

None of the news reports I've seen mention "Live speech"

I just saw onther poster @ dkos who also heard the NPR person say that it was taped. I dont have time to review the audio but it should be up on NPR.org by tomorrow if not already.

6. We kept switching from one channel to another and there was
a delay on one of them. Don't know if that means it was pre recorded or that one channel was broadcasting a few seconds behind the other.

Regardless, we gave up after 15 seconds due to sudden illness.

I see it at "the work in Iraq has been especially difficult", for example. It seems like the background out the window is faked, so he could have taped this in the middle of the day.

I kept thinking "why don't they go extinguish whosever light that is", how annoying. And you know, I only watched for a few minutes, and saw the bizarre light and glitches.

is fake. He's not in the White House. He's not even in Washinton DC. He is hiding in a bunker and the transmission signal was being encrypted so his exact location could not be known to any enemy monitoring the transmission.

later retracted. Since we can't believe them either way, it is hard to know. But it is conceivable to me that he and the Secret Service are aware that these are very dangerous times and that anything could happen.

Edit to add: In other words, Intelligence may suggest the prudence for reasons we know nothing of, unlucky us.

If you're asking about the "lizard" stuff, no, I'm just joking but in my opinion, they might as well be aliens so little common human feeling do they have. Does he look like a man who bears the weight of his actions, the actions that have taken uncounted THOUSANDS of lives?

Ain't what I see. And why is that?
