Oh that liberal media - who's the dummy subbing for Keith Olbermann?
Just caught part of her interview with a fellow cheerleader from the NY Daily News, and she actually said "We just got a little more good news", referring to some good poll numbers for Pres Dumbass. WE?!?

2. Thomas DeFrank from the NY Daily News...
has been doing good work. They may be highlighting a bright spot since there are so few, but they are calling the story "Spying on America". That's upfront.

3. I took it to mean that they (MSNBC) had got some good news *for Bush*,
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 08:21 PM by ocelot
not that Alison Stewart herself necessarily thought it was good news. And she did point out the contrast between Bush getting pissed off about the leak to the NYT on domestic spying with his not caring about the leak that led to the Plame case. I didn't think she was cheerleading for Bush -- but I do wish Keith were on, though.

7. It just had a cheerleading tone
And where did that 47% number come from? I can't believe he's up 10 points...

5. Did I see a poll there that said Chimpy's approval was up to 47%???
With something like 52 disapprove???

Yeah, that Daily News guy was talking about democracy taking root in Iraq, how the election went EXTREMELY well, blah blah blah. No critical thinking there, just mouthing the talking points. "The best 2 weeks of Bush's second term."

And here I sit, wondering how seemingly intelligent people can even stand looking at the friggin' moron/liar/killer.....

6. She did bring up the discrepancy of Bush re leak of spying vs Plame leak
To her credit, Allison Stewart skeptically asked the Repub why the leak of the spying would be considered worse than the leak of a CIA agent's identity. He acknowledged the point she was making and did not attempt to justify Bush's different outlook about the two leaks.
