16. Agreed. Hateful.
Something is very odd with the speed of it all, too. He has an answer for everything -- very quick, as if he knew what questions were coming.

Cheney used ABC's poll against Moran, too. Damn.

He "declines to answer" most everything -- especially Libby.

Smirking, condescending twit! And what's with the chest patches -- as if he served?

Oh why am I watching!!!!!!!!!

:nuke:

6. Cheney skipped the question of congressional approval
as required by law as a check and balance to executive power. He went into some lala land that W must approve actions every 45 days.

9. It seems so scripted
This "interview" is lightning speed and Cheney's super-quick on every question. The pacing is ridiculous and he's an arrogant SOB.

20. Are they kidding? Cheney would have led the COUP against FDR!
Edited on Tue Dec-20-05 01:58 AM by shance
He is destroying everything FDR worked for.

That is not a lie, that is fact. And now, he is sociopathic enough to try and use the same person, Franklin D. Roosevelt, who's policies Cheney and Bush (both Jr. and Sr.) have been trying to execute in every possible capacity.

Franklin Roosevelt was disabled with polio. As such, Roosevelt understood what it was like to be human, to be disabled. As a result, he had compassion and empathy for those who had been less fortunate by the elements of nature.

This is unlike 5 deferments, "other priorities", Cheney, who has called thousands of our American children off to war so that he can profit from it, irregardless of their deaths. For the record, he still has not attended one of the troops' funerals.

Huge discrepency, as in all versus none character, compassion and caliber.

Americans should be insulted beyond belief that Dick Cheney would have the audacity to be dishonest enough to put himself in the same realm as Franklin D. Roosevelt. But that is what this Administration does so well. They lie and use others for their own political gain.

15. unbelievable
I've been kind of occupied with other things the last couple of weeks so I haven't really had a handle on the specifics of the recent spying shit storm (whatever it is I hate to say it doesn't surprise me). However I watched nightline tonight, I know cheney is the worst of the worst. I know that even conservatives like andrew sullivan consider him to the be the dark lord of the sith. But goddamn... I mean godamn I have never been so frightened in my life watching a public official speak as I was tonight. It was just a chilling interview that confirmed my worst fears and went even further. What really made me crazy was that these people have no shame and they just put it out with a fuck you attitude. I know nothing new but I'm amazed that cheney would think this type of appearance would benefit him. THey basically feel its in their interest to come off like this and frankly it blows my mind.
I'm starting to wonder if the 08 elections will ever come of with this crew..

18. The Cheneys come off as having ice water in their veins
They take, never give. Cheney admitted he had other priorities during the Vietnam war which did not include patriotism to his country.

Bush/Cheney/Rummy/Rice are probably the most unfeeling and uncaring towards U.S. citizens who ever existed. But they love corporate globalism. That is where there loyalty is. Every breath and military move they make shows it.

Prediction: Cheney is going down in 2006. (Note to Agent Mike -- I believe he will be forced to resign.)

24. Did you all notice how flustered Cheney got when Terri brought up Graham?
Cheney disputed what Graham said but looked flustered and nervous and then he started stumbling over his words. Instead of saying Deputy Director he said "Nepuity Erector".
