HARRISBURG, Pa. - "Intelligent design" cannot be mentioned in biology classes in a Pennsylvania public school district, a federal judge said Tuesday, ruling in one of the biggest courtroom clashes on evolution since the 1925 Scopes trial.

Said PA judge:

"It is ironic that several of these individuals, who so staunchly and proudly touted their religious convictions in public, would time and again lie to cover their tracks and disguise the real purpose behind the ID Policy." Ironic, maybe. Typical, yes.

I liked where the judge said that the I.D. people had no science and had consulted no scientists
and the only reasons they were pushing for ID in school were religious.

Nice of the judge to call them out on it. Too often the dirty tricks of the fundies get buried or mired in other details.

As a Christian lying is supposed to be a big no-no. It's ridiculous how they can lie so easily but still claim to be so holier than me as a liberal. :eyes: And remember when all of them were saying it wasn't about religion? Ha!
