I'm disappointed with Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell
Their side just suffered a stinging defeat in Scopes Monkey Trial part II, and so far, not a single threat of a divine smiting for...

1) The "activist" Judge

2) The town

3) The State of Pennsylvania

Come on guys, you're losing your touch.

1. Robertson already smited Dover...
After the last election, in which the ID-proponent school board was tossed out by the electorate, he said that Dover had turned its back on God.

3. But what about the Judge
Isn't he at least worthy of an additional smiting?

7. Well, you know, if you smite too often, it loses its edge.
It's like when people say "fuck" too often. Pretty soon, it's just not shocking anymore. And then. no one's afraid of getting smote (smited? smitten?) ;)

9. Yes, the original Patwa is still in effect
At least until it's rescinded by Ayatollah Robertson.

4. Indianapolis passed a gay rights ordinance last night
I've been waiting for Pat & Jerry to rain brimstone down on us but it hasn't happened yet.

6. It's coming down on Christmas Day--mark my words
Going to be a "three-fer" this year (Indianapolis, Dover PA, and all us "lieburals").
