http://www.bbvforums.org/forums/messages/2197/6737.html?1132950109Paranoid Pat just posted it over at the latest "trash Bev's critics" operation.
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/12/18/185734/69I am having problems with getting it to work, but my registry needs repairs.
Here is Pat's statement:
Funny you should mention the tapes....... (4.00 / 3)
......anyone who has been paying attention would have noticed that those tapes have been available for quite some time on the BBV.org site in the 'Video Archive' section. Here's a link so you don't have to look it up.

This link has been posted on DU in the past but the posts have been deleted and the posters were banned as trolls. Go figure.
As far as why the tape wasn't given to K.O., the better question is, why waste time giving solid evidence to a cable news show with a relatively small audience and allowing them to broadcast it out of context? Remember, at the time the tape was shot, BBV.org had submitted FOIA requests for copies of the official poll tapes from Volutia Co. and had not yet received them. Also, Bev and Kathleen were still in Florida working at the time and had no way to rip a copy and get it to him even if they had wanted to.
To show that tape, out of context, could have jeopardized it's evidentiary value as any defense attorney worth their salt would have moved to have it struck from the record as airing it at that time, and out of it's full context, would surly be construed prejudicial to their client.
Copies of the tape were given to the proper legal authorities and several members of Congress. FWIW
Pat A, Vesely ;-)Given what Bev claimed it contained, why haven't there been any indictments? I'll check it out when I get home, but in the meantime, get some popcorn.
