You are not going tobelieve the Christmas card I got from my RW
right wing relatives! It starts out sweet enough, andyes it is capped this way:

The Christmas story is a love story, It is God sending His Son, Jesus Christ, on a RESCUE MISSION to earth.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

Mission Accomplished!

Wishing you a Christmas filled with joy as you celebrate the gift of God's Son.

I wasn't going to send Christmas cards this year, but I figure i need to get one with a representation of Christ, maybe with with darker skin (that will really gouge their sensibilities), and commentary about him being a Emissary of Peace. Do you have any other suggestions? I can't believe someone would put that on a Christmas card!

1. Don't forget.
Christ was also Jewish... dark-skinned and Semitic looking
I should think... if he ever really existed.

2. I'd respond with an Xmas card that tells the TRUE story of Christmas
that of a German Pagan holiday ripe with debauchery and lots of alchohol...did I mention the sap on the wall near the tree?

and you can quote from The Beatitudes..

"He began to teach them, saying:

Matthew 5:3 - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land.
Matthew 5:6 - Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
Matthew - Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Matthew 5:8 - Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
Matthew - Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Matthew 5:10 - Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:11-12 - Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven."

Tell them to seek psychiatric help ... or get one-way plane tickets to Guayana.
