Can they do away with the Constitution in that war as well? Why bother to ask they already have. No Knock Policy, confiscation of Property without Due Process. What weapons will they use on the "War on Poverty" or is that not one the GOP wishes to fight?

1. If you follow their logic: The War on Poverty will be won by...
Killing all the poor peoples.

2. They won the War on Poverty
by ignoring the poor and only supporting the rich. Their idea is that the poor will either die off from lack of medical care or freeze to death this winter, I think.

3. Yes.
In the War on (some) Drugs, they usually read you your Miranda rights.

THEN they take your stuff.

In the War on "Terror", they blow you up. THEN they take your stuff.

4. It seems the words "War on" mean, "throw money with no plan"...
The War on Drugs was a laughable failure.
The War on Terror should be called The War on the Balanced Budget Amendment.
The War on Poverty really means cutting services so the mortality rate of the poor goes down and then there will be fewer poor people.

All of these terms are empty republican talking points just like Homeland Security and No Child Left Behind, which both remain unfunded to the point of atrophied impotence.

7. If it is possible to fight the war on terror
by terrorizing other countries (shock and awe) then can we fight the drug war with more drugs. I guess so Afghanistan is almost at full production.
