but if it were the republicans in the house would already have started the impeachment process. On the other hand, back in their cloakroom klavern they are probably making plans to obfuscate as much as possible, to dazzle and amaze their base because they are all up for reelection in less than a year. It is a pleasant thought that as republicans go home for Christmas they have the weight of the bush white house hanging around their necks and right now they just don't know what to do about it.

They bought into Fearless Leader's plan for a republican majority. They took the money and towed the party line and they will go to prison when the axe falls. Fearless Leader's supporters are cornered rats, so don't expect them to go tits-up easily.

I continue to firmly believe that Junior will NEVER be an "ex-president" - he'd be far too much of a liability. On the other hand, the sympathy vote would be enormous. After all, who'd speak ill of the dead?

Ford/Fromme and Reagan/Hinckley were good for them, but just didn't quite get the mileage they wanted. "Saddam threatened my daddy!" mobilized many dittoheads.

Isn't it amazing that EVERY repukelicker president since Nixon had a prominent death threat/attempt?
