So, MSNBC.com has this poll showing 87% want Chimpy impeached
and MSNBC is running video of a panda cub getting a physical exam.

Hello?

Oh, and the story after the break will examine the War on Christmas in the military: Are chaplains being told not to mention Jesus? First, let me say IF that is true then take a look at who runs the military. Here's a clue: It isn't the ACLU, Jews or Liberals. Second, WHO CARES? Read the damned poll numbers.

1. His approval is at a whopping 45%
Yet 87% want him impeached.

Something doesn't add up here......

there is always one poll that's way out there and is usually referenced by faux news.

4. They don't add up because they are incomparable.
One is a scientific poll one is not. I doubt an MSNBC poll would have commander cuckoo bananas approval at 45%.

14. The 87% is only among smart people who use the Internet.
The 45% (or whatever) is among everybody, including all the Bushbots and Fox viewers.

7. Yeah, it's just like the Reagan era. One atrocious crime after another
and still everyone praises the emperor's new clothes. Get used to it. Reagan stayed in office despite admitting to treason and has been diefied by the press in his afterlife. I don't have any hopes that Bush will go down, or that my kids will be taught how evil he was. (Fortunately, my kids see it on their own).

If they Dems win big in 2006 I would say it might become a reality.

8. It's not a valid poll.
The sample is self-selected.

Now I do think it's very significant (and welcome) that chimpeachment is being discussed in the corporate media, but that "poll" in itself means nothing.

10. It's an invalid poll, but telling.
The usual anti-Bush vote on MSNBC polls runs about 70-75%. It seems that more than anti-Bush people are ticked.

9. And the chaplain they have on is lying through his teeth
Edited on Thu Dec-22-05 11:11 AM by ticapnews
The Navy says there are no such orders and he is facing no punishment. In public - not private - services, "chaplains of all faiths are asked to pray in a manner that does not exclude others."

Sounds reasonable. Methinks this Evangelical FReeper should take off the collar and pick up a rifle.

Now stop discussing last minute gift ideas and bring out the poll results!

11. Not A Scientific Poll
With a little trickery, I could vote on that poll as many times as I wanted too.

(PS I only voted once)

12. What's their point in asking the question if they aren't going to use it?
They normally will mention the question and current results at different times during the day. But this poll was never mentioned on-air. I expect it will soon be removed the site...
