Which argument is winning? Is the obvious disregard for the FISA law winning or is the Republican PR that FISA is obsolete and not quick enough winning? Does this just disappear into the ether...? Bush can do whatever the hell he wants?
1. Lies are not argument. How can reporting after 71 hours not be quick enough
The Repug arguments that Carter and Clinton did it too do not hold watter. They allowed the FBI to spy on FOREIGN suspects. aWoL allowed the secret NSA do the spying on AMERICANS.
Lies are not arguments. But there is no distinction with this bunch. Whichever wins public opinion is all that matters and that is what they are trying to do with this breaking of the FISA law.
