A Shiite-dominated theocracy.

Thanks for nothing, George. Hey, you stupid neoconsters, you just created the worst blowback, ever, for our country. Are you proud of yourselves, you arrogant buttheads!!!

I just hope the blowback from within places you behind bars soon so that we can get to work preventing the blowback from outside.

Morons!!!

1. Oh, I remember when Ol' Brer Bin Laden said to Brer' Bush...
"Oh, PLEASE don't invade Iraq! Whatever you do, don't depose Saddam and put 150,000 US troops in Iraq!"

So ol' Brer Bush hit that tar baby with everything he had and got stuck but good. Brer Bin Laden could only be heard laughing as he bounded off into that Iraqi briar patch...

2. I remember an ad in the newspaper right before the invasion...
I wish I'd kept it. It was a picture of Bin Laden pointing his finger straight ahead and below the picture it said "I need YOU to invade Iraq".

4. Perfect illustration: This is result of policy makers thinking the same
The neocons/PNACers are so sure they are right and everyone else is stupid they have no way to test their pet theories outside of putting them into play. They won't harbor dissent, let alone honor and value opposing views and evidence. There will always be disaster from such folly.

Osama got what he wanted. Halliburton got what it wanted. The US Troops and Iraqi people got wasted, literally. America will not be safe from blood feuds for decades.

And the PNACers still won't admit their methods are to blame.

I hold the Newt responsible for much of this mess too. He taught a lot of people to listen only to the neocon mantra, utter only the neocon mantra, ridicule any serious debate of issues. And he dares think he can become President. Keep this petty little man under some serious light. He is a spreader of this dangerous and foolhardy method of policy making.

When the only voice you hear is your own, how do you know if you have gone mad?

6. Well no, not really. AlQaeda is Sunni.
They want a radical Sunni theocracy, not a Shiite one. Hence the civil war that's close to the boiling point.

10. "These were dilettantes from Washington think tanks"
Quotes from General Anthony Zinni, formerly chief of Central Command.

"The more he listened to Wolfowitz and other administration officials talk about Iraq, the more Zinni became convinced that interventionist 'neoconservative' ideologues were plunging the nation into a war in a part of the world they didn't understand. 'The more I saw, the more I thought that this was the product of the neocons who didn't understand the region and were going to create havoc there. These were dilettantes from Washington think tanks who never had an idea that worked on the ground.'"
