Edited on Fri Dec-23-05 08:21 PM by Gabi Hayes
talking about election theft 2004

major interference in foreign vote: as many as TWO MILLION absentee foreign votes "obviated," largely due to a pentagon website designed to "help" US citizens abroad register

from his latest book

As a legal noose appears to be tightening around the Bush/Cheney/Rove inner circle, a shocking government report shows the floor under the legitimacy of their alleged election to the White House is crumbling.

The latest critical confirmation of key indicators that the election of 2004 was stolen comes in an extremely powerful, penetrating report from the Government Accountability Office that has gotten virtually no mainstream media coverage.

The government's lead investigative agency is known for its general incorruptibility and its thorough, in-depth analyses. Its concurrence with assertions widely dismissed as "conspiracy theories" adds crucial new weight to the case that Team Bush has no legitimate business being in the White House.

Nearly a year ago, senior Judiciary Committee Democrat John Conyers (D-MI) asked the GAO to investigate electronic voting machines as they were used during the November 2, 2004 presidential election. The request came amidst widespread complaints in Ohio and elsewhere that often shocking irregularities defined their performance.

this is from yahoo, top 5 stories, thx to catwoman, and deserves its own thread. I heard Wasserman on thisishell.com yesterday, and the tale is bleaker when heard than when read, just as the video of that computer expert testifying before Conyers/etal last year was infinitely more compelling than when merely reading about it

it's later than you think

Bob Fitrakis & Harvey Wasserman are co-authors of HOW THE GOP STOLE AMERICA'S 2004 ELECTION & IS RIGGING 2008, available via

http://freepress.org and http://harveywasserman.com .

''What Happened in Ohio?,'' with Steve Rosenfeld, will be published in Spring, 2006, by New Press.

6. The Dems better get going
with things like commissioning exit polls, contesting the voting machines, monitoring everything, etc. I'm not an expert on this stuff. All I know is that they better get moving!

Just heard Mark Crispin Miller say that he doesn't like the Dems because they're not interested in the integrity of the system. If they're not, they're doing so at their peril and ours!:banghead:

4. Mark and Thom have to be among the hardest-working
election reform advocates we have!

My Big Idea: We *must* get Howard Dean to develop and implement at 50-State Plan to inhibit, detect, and battle election fraud! If he can create a 50-State Plan to identify promising candidates and energize their campaigns, then he *must* create a 50-State Plan to keep election fraud from preventing them from winning!

9. Dean needs to get the rest of the dems on board, or at least enough
to make enough noise for the media to be FORCED to pay attention

otherwise, it'll be just like every other BFEE scandal of the last five years (not to mention Iran/Contra, BCCI, etal, from before the theft of 2000)

oops....Hartmann just sang the praises of Bev unowho

14. Re: Bev - But Thom specified his fav site was bbv.COM
- which is the anti-Bev site. It has the great pic of Andy on the front page.

So, maybe Thom is trying to staying above the fray?

The fact that he sang the praises of Bev is troubling, as is his seemingly *naive* hope that Howard Dean will be the man on the White Horse - he likes to play the audio of Bev & Howard on Tina Brown and say, "see, see Howard knows!" Well, big whup. What has Howard *done* lately? ...which is exactly what Mark Crispin Miller said the last time he was interviewed by Thom on air (a week or so ago?).

13. Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!
I know Dean knows, I know that he even, on occasion, talks about election reform - and that is not nearly enough - he *must* invoke a 50-State Plan that is right out in the open and push it hard as an good American who wants fair voting would...

I once had a friend announce to me one day - that no matter how good I thought I was reading peoples' minds and guessing what they wanted or what they thought or what they would do - I *suck* at it and would do the world a lot of good by giving it up! So I have.

I do not want to guess or infer or interpret or give anyone the benefit of the doubt or have hope - I want it stamped across his forehead in *big* *red* *letters* --> 50-State Plan to Ensure Fair Elections.

I like Howard. He has the megaphone. He *must* use it. Now.
