Everybody hates Chimpy
An elderly couple came into my workplace to eat breakfast today. They are two of a group of 4 couples who usually come in for breakfast before church on Sunday. Not major fundies, just regular church-goers, but I've always seen them as Republican base.

I was telling this couple about sending Christmas gifts to my kids in Biloxi. They asked me how they were faring after the storm. We discussed the serious housing shortage and how people were living in tents in the cold for the holidays.

The lady then said, "I really think it's time we get a new president. We need one who is concerned about the people in THIS country." I smiled and agreed with her wholeheartedly.

Take that, monkeyboy, you lost another one.
Because not only are you losing your base, but they are becoming vocal about it.

6. That's good enough
Seems like there is an awakening going around. Always encouraging to hear stories like this.
If there's pitchforks, it's going to be from the elderly. Man! Should have heard my aunt the other day. Let's put it this way, I was scared that "they" were listening in.

7. I know. The Repubs scream about "patriotism" but they are
all too happy to send America's entire Treasury overseas to "free" a bunch of foreign people. Screw America's schools, America's poor, America's uninsured. Send it all to Iraq. Now THAT'S patriotic! :patriot:
