Brillant RW sign in car window
Seen today: "In America it's Merry CHRISTmas". All you Muslims can kiss my ass.

What has the US come to be?

8. It started before that
Ike beat Stevenson twice by painting Stevenson as an out-of-touch academic elitist intellectual. In fact, that is part of our problem the past 50 years - we run too many guys that come off that way: Kerry, Dukakis, Mondale, McGovern, Carter. While JFK and Clinton were both very bright, they also had charisma.

12. For the last 4+ years they have been taught to blame
everything on Muslims.

From the economy, to Iraq, to Xmas.

9. I wonder if O'Leilly told them to do that!
I saw a hand-printed sign in a car window that was similar.
It said: "Say Merry Christmas to me. Anyone saying Happy Holidays
will get punched in the nose." I'm not making this up. I couldn't
stop laughing at how completely ridiculous it was!

11. I think this is a serious problem.
There are too many brainless bimbos around anymore. Back when I was young, people like that were afraid to admit that they were that uninformed. Now they wear it like a badge and pass it on to their kids.

This is a lot of our problem because predators like the neo-con politicians and media can manipulate their ignorance and biases for their own agendas as we have seen happen since the turn of the new century.

I think we really need to wage a war for information to the populace any way we can.

13. After 9/11, I volunteered to stand watch outside our local mosque...
...during services in case someone was to take advantage of the praying muslims inside, Baruch Goldstein style. I have no problem standing watch for them again. I know for a fact no-one in that mosque would have given the beating I, athiest white man, would have if hooligans had made their move. The muslims inside just wanted to be a part of America, didn't want to cause a stir, just worship G*d in their own way.

I've been trained by too many war movies as a kid to turn down a glorious opportunity to expose a brownshirt's brain in legitimate self-defense. I have more compassion for rabid dogs.

Oopsie! My yule is showing! }(

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

(Just thought his willingness to defend others' practice of their religion, especially tho not "a believer" himself, deserved some affirmation!)

while at the same time, threatening a group of people they believe to be guilty of the same "criime."

21. Once upon a time, Christmas meant peace and good will toward humankind
Now it means division and hatred towards all but those who extoll the "virtues" of the far right. Face it, the Religious Wrong has done everything in its power to ruin Christmas, and the entire holiday season for the rest of us. Fortunately most of us haven't let them.

23. I saw one that read "To HELL with liberal judges...
It's "Merry Christmas" not "Happy Holidays." I tried to follow the idiot because I wanted to ask him 2 questions:

1. Which liberal judge had declared the words "merry Christmas" be banned in
America? and

2. Did he not see the hypocrisy in claiming to be Christian while condemning
"liberal judges" to hell?
