Will the Congress continue to shirk its responsibility for oversight ?
With the stories breaking all around them, with massive spying by the NSA, with the collaboration of telecommunication giants and Internet carriers, with blatant disregards for our Constitution and our laws, will the Congress continue to do nothing? Will they continue to let the Executive Branch keep their jackboots on their throats? Will they simply turn a blind eye and let it all continue? There's not much hope we will see any truth or justice anytime soon...

1. If the republican congress cannot uphold the law
then they aare truly a treasonous bunch who have
failed their oath of office and failed the american people.
If they cannot defend and enforce our constitution,
then these traitors should resign and go home.

The democrats know how to deal with law breakers..
especially the kind of corrupt crooks that pervade
the republican party.... it;s more than a culture of
corruption... it flat out criminal.

2. They're satisfied to let Bush wallow in his mess
But, the public suffers their minimalism. They do just enough, collectively, to preserve and perpetuate their influence and relevance. The public good is an afterthought to most of them, a means to elevate themselves.
