you just posted a thread that shows them saying about us the exact same things we say about them. There are actually some well written posts with minimal to no spelling errors and a lot of the same humor we use.

I have never thought of us as mirror sites but if this posting were the only thing I had to go on, I would be hard pressed to deny it.

Try this for fun - replace each reference to DU with FreeRepublic and each derogatory reference to DU with Freeptards. Format it all into a much more readable format like ours. I don't really think anyone here would even know it wasn't us.

However, having had the misfortune of seeing some of their other useless, claptrap drivel and low IQ posters spouting idiocy, I know this isn't the best representation of how FreeRepublic is but it is a good representation of how they like to see themselves.

Now we may kick off right-wingers who post on here but at least most of us are honest about that fact. And personally if it were my choice, which it is not, I would allow the right-wingers to post here. I can understand why the mods don't allow it, but I am always up for a debate with wing-nuts. And while me may not allow the far-right to post here, there is still plenty of debate on DU. Just look at any thread about Hillary Clinton or guns and any rational observer will see very quickly that we do not all march in lockstep.
