1. Why are we increasing the # involved in training?
It's been over 2.5 years. Why haven't we had enough trainers all that time? Why are we waiting to increas the # of trainers until next year?

2. It's all semantics...
While there may be an overall "combat" troop level reduction, "training" units will continue to fluctuate furthermore throughout the quagmire...

13. The troops that are being "withdrawn" haven't even deployed!
One is in Kuwait and the other is in Germany.

3. Of course, the tradition is for the Military Brass to serve the GIs ...
... on Christmas Day.

But Pentagon Don is more important than any mere soldier, huh?

And anyway, the soldiers are too busy staying alive to worry about photo ops.

Let's just hope the Salvation Army are serving the Neocons their Christmas Dinner on Skid Row before too long!

8. Oh! I thought
he was practicing for his role as kitchen help at the local prison, when he is convicted of conspiracy with *!

And during this time of "war" shouldn't the commander and chief be there to serve the troops? Oh that's right he is at Camp David showing on Herb-Roasted turkey. But he did call the troops, with his military jacket on! Whatever....

Hey,
Happy Holidays to all my DU friends! Here's to a bright and impeachable New Year!

something? That is why people like him are in the party that they are in now. If he had to do that all of the time, I guarantee that it would not take very long for him to be "progressive".

11. If we're on our way out, where's the Iraqi Air Force?
Are they flying MiGs? ...F-15 Eagles?....
Where is their tank corps?

How are they going to defend themselves from their neighbors with a "security force"?
The "security force" is just a heavily armed group of policemen we hope to use to control the masses of civilians.

Iraqi-vs-Iraqi
Good luck on that.
