My Brothers Comments about Bush Last night.

My brother turns out to be a bush suppository. Last night he was saying that his pastor spoke a month ago about how the congregation needs to put aside all the negative press that has come out about bushscum(Libby,Spygate,Rove, ect) and stand with the president on the war on terror and all that is going on in Iraq.

I asked him after he said that if that was from the pulpit...Yes he said...I asked him if the church has lost it TAX EXEMPT status...yes again..Why???....I said isnt that a political statement....yes again...I said IRS code says pulpits are not to be used for political purposes nor to promote or support political adgendas.....I was told to chill out. I asked him if he would be in favor of his church hosting a Armed Forces Recruiting event at the church, He said no......he said it would be an inappropriate use of the church.......I said then you agree with your pastor stance on supporting the prez and all that bushscum is doing in Iraq but it is inappropriate for the church demonstrating its support by having Recruiters come to the church to further sell the jibberish to the familys on the need to have its members sons and daughters enlist so as to reduce the number of troop rotation that many have had to endure.....he said exactly.... I said then you dont really support the troops if you are not ready to see your childern sacrifice nor do you support the troops by driving vehicals that are dependeding on our energy dependence on arab oil.....BUT most of all you dont support the troops by supporting a prez that HAS,IS,and will continue TO LIE and over throw our Constitution.

He PANICED and ran to another room....

2. Too bad your brother isn't my brother
his comments about Bush and what he is doing are unprintable. But then, my bro is a vet with a Silver Star from Viet Nam--and he's more than ticked off (my words not his) about how Bush is treating veterans and the military in general....and no, his son isn't enlisting-HE can't stand Bush either.

I admire those who have to stand up to their own loved ones. I'm so fortunate to have been born into a family of lefty pinko nutcases!

4. On Tuesday
Pick up the phone, call the church, ask to speak to the pastor and tell him you are reporting him to the IRS and you wanted to verify if your brother's story was accurate.

Then, follow through and call the IRS.

6. Verify what the pastor said THEN tell him you are reporting to the IRS
Good luck, though. Only seems to work against churches what actually work to promote peace Promoting the neocon agenda seems to get a pass.
