I'm watching "The Hunting of the President" and I have to say
Kenneth Starr is a lying, vicious, maniacal, shit eating scum bag.

Jerry Falwell is a cowardly, bovine douche bag.

What a pack of sick, twisted, perverted fucks. The man admitted4ed to an affair and they spent 6 hours asking him for the gory details.

I am pissed. They are going to so this to every candidate we put up for the presidency. They tried to do it to Kerry, and they will do it to the 2008 nominee. And our gutless, complicit media will lap it up.

The party needs to get and keep its' act together. Give these bastards no quarter. We have to stop them. We need to stop kicking the shit out of each other and realize who the enemy really is.

1. The US majority still loves Clinton

And they hate George Bush.

The GOP can do it all they like -- they come out looking like the moronic hypocrites they are.

2. Somebody fact-check me on this.....
Edited on Mon Dec-26-05 08:43 PM by Idealist Hippie
but I believe Kenneth Starr has a chair at Pepperdine funded by Richard Mellon Scaife??? The same guy who paid for Paula Jones' plastic surgery so the jury wouldn't die of laughter when she said someone had talked to her in a sexually suggestive manner.

3. Yes, dear. We do. All of us do.
And, until then, we will be having many heated conversations among ourselves.

5. I have the DVD and read the book but haven't been able to
bring myself to watch the DVD, because I don't want to experience the anger again.

6. I feel like I did after the 2000 and 2004 elections. I think I need to
watch the DVD everytime I start to feel the outrage subside.

Who was it that said "Anger is a gift" ?

10. oh good -- I don't feel like such a wimp now!
Because I also have the DVD -- and was able to only watch the intro. I ejected the DVD and haven't been able to look at it. That was a year ago.

I really despise Kenneth Starr -- and the very fact that the new Chief Justice worked for Kenneth Starr makes me want to throw up when I see his ugly warped face.

And now we watch bushie get away with one horror after another --

11. I love DU!
I'm glad I'm not the only one! My outrage resurfaces every morning when I hear the right wingers call in to CSpan STILL bitching about Clinton.

13. I suggest you pop in the DVD and
go straight to the special features. The speech that Bill gives in the special features are worth watching. It gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling that we need all too often.

16. Hmmm, I have the DVD and can't find the special features you speak of
Edited on Mon Dec-26-05 10:21 PM by MessiahRp
The box says they're in there but I can't find the option on the special features menu. All I get is "Cast & Crew", "Photo Gallery" and "Trailer" as options in there...

The back of the DVD says commentary with Drew Barrymore even. Hmmm....

17. On my DVD
The special features are on the main menu list, bottom right. When I select that from the menu, I get two options. "President Clinton's Speaks After the Premier Screening" and "Trailer" as my only options. You must have a different DVD than I do. Damn, that sucks. It is a great speach. He addresses alot of the issues from the movie directly and with such grace and style ... the good old days way!

8. What keyhole is Ken Starr peaking through right now? Contrast that perv...
...with Patrick Fitzgerald.
I like to think about what a non-microphone whore PF is compared to KS. Something very good could be coming and we don't know because the PF investigation isn't a media (enabled) circus the way 'White Water' was.

9. I agree.
In the spirit of shit happens for a reason, I have come to the conclusion if Gore had become President they would have hunted him down relentlessly just like they did Clinton and anyone else in his orbit, except maybe Joe Lieberman because he probably was the mole.

Maybe we needed to go through this awful time so that those who follow the leader blindly can see exactly what they stand for. The only problem is that they have gained enough power to permanently compromise our election system.

We need to fix this election problem because the other side knows they can't win honestly and now that they are putting their own people in place, like Governors and Secretaries of State, they will try to cheat on the elections again.

12. Starr is a pervert with a very distorted view of normal human sexuality.
Edited on Mon Dec-26-05 10:05 PM by Straight Shooter
I could not believe the depths to which he sank in an attempt to turn a ludicrously lascivious investigation into a pornographic epic.

If I'd been Bill, I would have tattooed "Fuck you, Ken" on my dick and flopped it out on the table during one of those perverse interviews. LOL, every time people would see Bill they would think "Fuck you, Ken."
