Matt goes ga-ga for Coulter

Ann Coulter joined Matt Lauer on the Today show earlier this morning. I don't care if Ann is hired on as many tours and talk shows that she can get for herself, but at least Matt could ask her one question that would let the morning viewers know where she stands. Something like-"how do you feel the Muslims of the world perceived her statements that "we should carpet bomb their cities and convert them to Christianity?" Instead-it's a "hot tub-love-in" interview.



She almost never frames an argument honestly and Matt stands by mute, holding his cue cards-allowing her to pontificate. (We all know where Harry Reid stands on abortion.) More on this later...

She was in her form.....nothing but droll foul mouth out of her

She thinks we are at war....(she doesnt read the Constitution)
and so that means that the President can spy on his own people
to "protect us".
So she wants to give Iraq freedom, while taking ours away.......

17. "Today" is a Joke
And it actually used to be a good show! Now it is nothing but airheaded fluff, along with Good Morning America. People get outraged over sex & violence in entertainment, but why don't they ever get outraged over how *stupid* a lot of TV is? There should be a movement to smarten up TV. No more reality shows, & no more idiotic fluff like "Today"!

Dear Matt,

As you know, Ann Coulter is not a serious commentator. Her statements don't represent what she thinks or believes, they are obviously intended to provoke a reaction to gain publicity for herself, as well as cultivate and incite hatred in people, in service of her patrons' political ends.

Therefore it's silly for you to conduct an interview with her as if she is making serious comments on politics and society. Most of us viewers know that you know Coulter is a fake, so watching that interview is like a weird skit. It's like watching fiction. But the Today Show isn't supposed to be fiction.
