Bar Bush: George never had a drinking problem!

So why do they make a big deal about him drinking near beer and non-wine?

http://205.180.85.40/w/pc.cgi?mid=20227&sid=9665

Former First Lady Barbara Bush said Wednesday that her son, President Bush, never really had a drinking problem, though he might have given that impression with some offhanded comments during the 2000 presidential campaign.

Asked whether First Lady Laura Bush had played a key role in helping her husband turn his life around, the president's mother told CNN's "Larry King Live, "George was never a problem. He wasn't."

"He really was not all of these horrible things," Mrs. Bush continued. "He brought that on himself, I think, truthfully, with all his Jack Daniels - 'Choose me or Jack Daniels' or whatever it was he said on maybe CNN."

33. Ha! Great video
I especially like this comment from our own Head Drunk in Charge, "Only in America, could a guy like that find work." And you so resemble that comment Georgie!

Anyone can see bush is a boozehound. Just look at the face; it shows all the classic signs of a drinker.

8. "Denial is the key to family dysfunction" - AA recovery saying
And there's a whole lot more that Barb is in denial about, it just gets worse and worse with disrgaceful old age...........

Maybe it's her memory turning gaga......there's plenty of footage of Junior in the 80s and 90s talking about his substance abuse

I don't know if he did or did not actually quit - like he told everyone on primetime during the 2000 election when he said he quit on his 40th birthday......

But it's plain obvious he's a serial abuser of everything else apart from substance

Maybe it's a genetic thing: Barb

11. Yep
Barb is a textbook case of denial, control, and all those other recovery words I haven't thought about in a couple of years! It's funny how I saw this and automatically thought "She needs an Al-Anon meeting" - far too charitable of me to think so! ;)

14. Without wanting to take her inventory....she has rather stuck her
neck out! I'm sure there is some kind of day-at-a-time 12 step support group that she could fit into apart from Al-Anon (on whom I wouldn't wish anyone so totally and irredeemably repugnant): Denial Anonymous?

9. Mother's answer.
And if he had a problem I am sure she mean it when she said Pickles did not help him. Come on she is a women that will do any thing to keep her family in tact and she the grand old lady. Read a little about Barbara and you will see how the 'ruling class' thinks about the rest of us.And she is in that fold.

the rest of us useless eaters?

They don't hate us for our freedoms, they hate us because we are using up all of 'their' resources, including all the whiskey.

10. Denial..it ain't just a river in Egypt
I read the transcript and she is looney tunes. I mean, she says the bodies found in Iraq are "good enough" reason as far as she's concerned for the invasion. The economy is good and Georgie is in his kingdom and all is right with the world. The old bat is not all there.

12. Well, now when Georgie's
drinking problem is brought up, the media can say that Georgie's mother said he didn't have a problem. Then when the questioner says, what about the DUI, the media can say "Are you calling bush's* mother a liar". Oh, I so hate these people.

15. What mother speaks badly
about her son?

Even Hitler's mother had many good things to marvel about!

junior's past sez volumns about the Carlyle boys and his poopy, and these aren't your everyday thugs.

16. He didn't have a drinking problem
He drank. He got drunk. He crashed cars into telephone poles. No problem!

I wonder if Barbara Bush realizes that your mom having to come to your defense is fine when you're six but looks really bad when you're in your fifties. Next thing we know, we'll learn that Georgie really loves his warm milk and chocolate chip cookies before he puts on his footie jammies and gets in bed with his teddy.

I'm trying to sound funny and failing miserably. The problem is that this has gotten serious: Bush isn't mature enough to be president.

Bar needs to visit reality. A few minutes ago I saw a clpi of Larry King Live...to be on tonight??? I think....

He questioned her about what it's like to hear people say bad things about her son?

Bar says...(paraphrase) "You can insult ME but, DO NOT insult my son, my husband, my D-I-L or you will be DEAD."

HELLO!!!! Is THAT a threat you witch?

I think the clip was for tonights show...tune in...hear it for yourself. Me? I can't stand to watch the woman or any other member of the BFEE.

22. I only saw the last part of
her interview (by accident) where she identified with the new Anti Drug ad about the mom depicted as "The Enforcer". She narciscistically said that she thought they got that from HER, since that is what her family calls her. Yeah, she sure "enforced" successfully, raising crooks, alocolholics and adulterers. She is just awful.

24. The Enforcer?
The one who grounds her kid for smoking weed, then we see him refusing a hit because he doesn't want to get grounded again? They forgot the next scene where the mom wakes up from her dream. And I'm sure Barbara Bush identifies with African American mothers everywhere.

I think George's mom is covering for the inevitable 'outing' of the fact that he's gone back to the bottle.

The United States is starting to have more and MORE in common with the ill-fated Exxon Valdez...

27. It's all a matter of perspective.
Babs doesn't think she ever had a drinking problem either, but one look at her simian like offspring and it is pretty obvious that she was hitting the sauce hard back in the mid fourties.

Nice one. Now I have to run the Cookie Manager to clean out my system. I feel violated!

On edit: REAL GOOD! I had a 'Red Sheriff' spyware cookie on my box. BEWARE!

to the air. Football's in full swing, Baseball is in prime time with the "Fall Classic", Hockey and Basketball are starting up, and H A Double EL OH Double U Double E N spells Halloween, is a few short weeks away! The Democratic candidates are crossing the country bringing an energy to the truly American process of selecting our next President. It must be time to shine up that turd in the Oval Office and make him look like a presentable human being. Nice start Mabus, you corrupt bag of fuck.
