The real smoking gun line from the SOTUS:

" We will consult. But let there be no misunderstanding: If Saddam Hussein does not fully disarm, for the safety of our people and for the peace of the world, we will lead a coalition to disarm him."

Now what does that say to you? Here is what it says to me.
"we will consult" = we will go through the sham UN process
"but let there be no misunderstanding" = bottom line
"if Saddam Husssein doesnot fully disarm" = he has WMDs
"for the safety of our people" = Saddam is a threat to the US
"and for the peace of the world" = Saddam is a threat to the world
"we will lead a coaliton" = we will invade Iraq
"to disarm him." = to take away his WMDs

Am I wrong...but this is purely Bush's baby!
