The Bushistas remind me of many things

But the main thing today is a quote from Mark Twain (at least I think it is his quote).

"Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel."

Agreed? It seems that all the flag waving is coming from the lowest common denominator of our populace.

You know the type. Rule by intimidation. Myopic views that prevent them from seeing the freight train heading right at them. Surrounded by yes men. Never seeking alternative viewpoints.

And when all their screw ups finally hit the fan, and all the rank-in-file take the hit, the CEO's and their lackeys just take all their stashed cash and retire to their estates.

2. The only thing that is worse

are the yes men that surround them. They don't have brains?

But like good lemmings, they will follow their boss over the cliff.
