Know of any radio stations refusing to play Mellencamp?
I wish they would...might clue in people who got their heads up their asses to wonder what the fuck is going on...if the stations even TRIED to do a Dixie Chick "pogrom" on Mellencamp, it would energize a lot of people and would be a huge stick in the eye to the "shut up and sing" morAns. Which, btw, what bullshit for Ingraham to use that as a title to her book. Singers/artists aren't qualified to say political stuff, but somehow it is Laura's divine mandate to have a daily show where she never shuts up about her views....kee-riced!
A-a-a-a-nd, Laura...you are more qualified...w-w-w-w-why? Oh, you wrote some speeches for rethug politicians...ohh! Oh, you're a lawyer! Oh! OK!! Oh now I see...yeah, your views are MUCH weightier....mmm-HMMM!!
Hey Laura, read the book "Shut up and Get a Real Job That Does Something Productive or Uplifting For Society"... ya dumb b***h.
For those unaware, Mellencamp wrote a public letter with his wife and tore into Bush and his phony war and published it on their web site. Go Mr and Mrs Mellencamp!! I think the stations who would try to bump Mellencamp from the playlist and publicly announced it would do us all a huge service by the backlash that would ensue. It would point out to the rethug dicks who run most stations how out of touch they are.
Please report if you have heard of Mellencamp being blacklisted. I am real curious. Haven't heard anything where I am. They might of gotten away with it before with the Dixie Chicks, so maybe they are stupid enough to think they could do that with Mellencamp, or Springsteen....wouldn't put it past them if they tried.

1. I haven't heard any playing anything off his new CD
"To America" has received ZERO airplay in the deep south, to my knowledge, and it is a fabulous song. A little too anti-Bush for most people's taste at the time the CD came out; of course, I love it!
