How's it All going to end?
All as in...ALL.
everything, the whole she-bang...how will the ride end for human beings on the planet earth?
world-wide thermonuclear war?
a new virus from space, or deep in a jungle?
a new virus from a secret weapons lab somewhere?
the return of Jesus and/or Mohammed?
a collision with an asteroid or comet?
the sun becomes a super-nova?
MAJOR climactic changes?
Attacked/conquered by warlike aliens?
something else?

My personal belief is that The End will be brought about by a collision with a large asteroid, or other heavenly body
I think that the earth is too resilient for humankind to have the ability to kill their species off by their own doing.

1. It never will end
Humans will take to the space before that ever happens. In fact it could very easily within the next 50 years. I think humans will exist forever. My own religious beliefs also reinforce that opinion.

2. I thought you meant chimpie's current problem
Now, that is the question. How is the "WMD" fiasco going to end?

3. This is the end
The Yellowstone supervolcano is about 40,000 years overdue (in a 600,000 year cycle) for it's next scheduled eruption. The last supervolcano eruption in the South Pacific 75,000 years ago killed about 99% of the earths human population, leaving only 1500 to 5000 humans to repopulate the planet (which is the reason all our DNA is so similar from such a small breeding population such a short time ago).

I'd love to be alive to see it go off.

4. Hey, Thanks for the info!
It's always nice to have something new to fret about on a daily basis...
What it boils down to for me, is that I believe that some type of spectacular naturally occuring catastrophe is what will ultimately bring us down, and set the clock back to pretty much zero. I was thinking asteroid or comet, but I forgot about what a bitch Mother Earth can be when she wants to. And Agent Smith in The Matrix pretty much nailed it when he described the human race as a virus infecting the planet.
Maybe next time, if there is a next time, human beings will get it right, or at least closer to it, early on in the cycle.
