What is with those tapes of Osama, and now Saddam? Real? Fake?

Those things just bug me. The tapes are sort of "nya nya nya". The media dutifully report them, while saying they have not been authenticated. Then, is there ever a follow-up saying they are authentic? No one ever seems to really be sure. WTF?

So, we already know that the U.S. paid bribes to top Iraqi military people if they would promise not to fight. A significant number accepted, a fact which observers say helped shorten the war and make it less deadly.

Okay, what if Saddam and Osama were both given bribes to be fake enemies in the first place?

We never catch 'em. We never kill 'em. Nobody ever sees 'em. But, their "usefulness" as sworn enemies continues, because they can't be proven dead. Plus, the tapes continue.

Bear in mind our military budget this year is nearly $400 billion. Iraq's last year was about $1.5 billion.

The military and the Top Gun AWOL Prez NEED an enemy desperately, for polls, and for federal fund increases.

Why not pay those two, Osama and Saddam, to be Public Enemy #1 and #2? And, have those tapes surface at crucial times.

Saddam was said to have recruited about six "body doubles," guys who looked and dressed like him, for security reasons. I believe some had plastic surgery. What was to prevent him from getting plastic surgery to change his appearance?

What is to prevent this bogus administration from producing so-called DNA evidence of the demise of either one or both, right before an election?

Have I gone off the cynical deep end?
