Bush may not run in 2004
The chief plutocrats of our realm (of which our dear John "Jay" Rockefeller IV is very prominent) have gotten what they need from Dubya. We are in Iraq. We have it's oil.

Someone set up this neocon cabal to invade Iraq--a move that no Poppy Bush New Word World type would have signed off on because it was complete bullshit beyond the pale--and now the neocons are being exposed one by one. Rummy, Cheney, even President Stoopid can go, because their exit no longer matter to the big picture, because we are occupying Iraq and we aren't going anywhere. The Poppy New World Order types want a competent manager for our Empire, and have released the media to take Dubya down.

BushCo crossed the line when they tried to blame the CIA for everything. They made it worse when they tried to circumvent the media "filter." Big mistakes. Nothing ever written about the CIA suggests they will take it.

Blair is going to have to face this again once the Hutton Inquiries findings are released in November. That story will be ran here this time. The coverage of lack of WMD is going to increase in the press and as any DUer knows, the damaging evidence is endless.

Also, The 9/11 Inquiry is suddenly back in the news. Look for this to be dropped in BushCo's lap (where it belongs) so that it can be washed away once and for all, pesky enormous questions about culability, once and for all.

All in all, given the clear reduction in visible Republican support for Dubya in the last week, it is clear his party is no longer rabidly behind Bush. This will only worsen.

I do not expect him to run in 2004. That said, I don't know how that will play out.

4. If they offer up Jeb Bush...
...we should just scrape up some Bush nominee and clone a Bush. Dress it up in a suit, and offer it up as a nominee. Granted, the accelerated aging would leave it without experience, talent, or skills...but...wait...OMG! Is there any verifiable proof that Bush isn't a clone of his father? With all the holes in his history, how do we KNOW he isn't just a clone with embedded memories and history?

6. Agreed!
He and his administration are SOO arrogant they don't know they are pissing off the planet. Look at his response to everyone not liking us-he didn't know it and he doesn't believe it. No he'll run and he'll be defeated. And then he'll be surprised.

9. I disagree
They have their little dummy puppet in there to do their bidding....knowing half of America are convinced that Bu$h is better than Jesus Christ himself and that "GOD" put him in the Whitehouse. They know the brainwashed bu$h lovers will go along with anything they want to do.....no questions asked because they "trust" bu$h.It was a wonderful set-up for them, and they have all their bases covered.....they rule both houses, the Whitehouse, the DOJ,the courts, the Supreme court....and NO ONE will touch them no matter how many crimes they commit....so, no indictments,no impeachment,no REAL independent investigations....they pulled it all off and now they have it made. With the diebold voting machines with no paper trail and no democrats with the balls to stand up to the rigging of elections....I don't see any hope for us at all.Too many things fall into place for repukes,no matter how many people vote for dems...notice the repukes most always "win" (wink, wink).

14. Who would they run instead?
It seems like a real problem for the Republicans, if Bush becomes as unpopular as we all wish he would be, who would they run...

Criteria:

1. White
2. Old
3. Homophobic
4. Scary
5. Easily manipulated
6. Naive
7. Ignorant to the problems of the real world

The problem is all of their real leaders are self-willed manipulators...

They'd have to tour Mississippi retirement homes or something.

20. Maybe they could get Rush Limpballs to run.......
after he gets out of drug rehab. He's good at brainwashing the repuke voters into believing anything and he's not all that smart either....all he's good for is preaching hate and intolerance, that's right up their alley.

11. Something is up...
When we starting hearing stories about Prescott Bush's Nazi connections one week and the next all the major media are covering the Washington DC protest yesterday -- C-SPAN ran hours worth of coverage on it -- I start wondering whose agenda is being served?

Certainly not the left, who six months ago couldn't buy a headline.

So at Bugs Bunny used to say... what's up, Doc?

21. it was imperative to get the toehold in Iraq
They make money from chaos, and more money from extended chaos. Once they started moving troops and supplies, they started making money. In for a penny, in for two trillion.

They broke the egg. It can't be unbroken without making trillions for Bushco.

13. I think there has been a possibility of his not running
and continues to be. He will not be the one to make the decision. He will be informed of the decision and if he chooses to run anyway he will lose.

I think the possibilities looming in his immediate future are:

Resign in disgrace: Makes bitter Nixon-like speech and flies off to his personal Elba with satchels of money raised for campaign.

Resign with (apparent but not actual) honor: Bush is given the following script to read before a select audience of fat cats: I have accomplished what I have set out to do.....blah blah blah.

Impeachment--Republican House will fight hard to avoid this scenario

Run for election with covert opposition from powerful interests--who will see that he loses.

15. Here is my fear of what will happen. He will run. He's campaigning
already. At some critical point just before elections, Osama or Hussein-or both-will be miraculously captured. This will of course sway the sheeple back into the pen, lawding the grand leader for ridding them of these men. Democratic candidates have got to address this very real possibility in my opinion.

16. Swimming in other people's blood can be addictive.
I've thought the same thing for a while. Mainly because they'd all want to "go pro" for big fat private-sector paychecks.

But ... a taste of power .... can feel pretty good. Who'd want to give that up?

Air Force One ... Camp David .... killing thousands of innocent people at a whim .....

Letting Satan take over your soul must feel pretty good, or else why would he stick with it?

17. Bush will not run when

Of course he's running. That's insane. You're babbling, or wishful thinking, or incredibly optimistic.

What in his past gives you the idea that just becasue he is evil and wrong and knows it that he will go away or take responsibility? Nothing. It hasn't stopped him before and it certainly will not now.

19. Look, I may be insane, but I am also optimistic!
Yes, I know it may be hard to believe, but I'm just saying the media seems to be cooking Bush finally and there is no way that Iraq is going to get better. What if everything keeps getting worse exponentially?

We'll see what the puppet masters have in store for Dubya...

18. When the incumbent president does not run
that party has always lost that election.
Even the most disillusioned Republicans will be reminded of that.

There is a scenario that would work, IMO, but I am not going to say what it is -- as it would like I was wishing for the first part of it to come true.

23. What is the latest McCain or somebody....
could launch a campaign for the Republican nomination? Is there anybody who could possibly run on the Republican side that would have a chance?

Look at the money Dean has gathered from the internet. I think it is possible for a republican to unseat bush, but I wonder how soon they would have to launch the campaign.

24. Your scenario would require Bush to exit...
...if he were to die in an orchestrated asasination- well that would certainly make him some sort of Republican martyr I guess, possibly ensuring a GOP victory in 2004...

I suppose this would be the the work of the "Owl Worshippers" or Skull & Bones/John Kerry's HAIR????

26. I've thought about this
theory when it has been raised before. Unfortunately, I don't think this scenario will happen. The electronic "voting" machines probably already insure a chimp win regardless of the chaotic mess he has created. These people never like to admit a mistake and boy did they create one. Now if they start to concoct an illness for the monkey and say he "needs more time with his family" I would seriously reconsider. I fear we may not get outta this so easily and be very wary of whomever they pick to replace him.
