1. Yes, they would. But I am certain that neither man would run in the
position of Vice President (unfortunately).

3. If they gave a rats ass about our country
they'd shove their egos where the sun don't shine and be f*cking patriots for Christ sake. Sorry I'm tired, time for bed. When I wake up I'll be my old charming self. A cobra ;)

12. If Kerry won't take VP, let him stay in the Senate
He'll do a better job there. Clark says on his website he supports progressive taxation. I'm hoping he comes out specifically against corporate trade agreements, and sending American jobs overseas. He'll be unbeatable.

7. Clark/Almost anybody would be unbeatable.
Clark commands respect just by being himself...he'd make Georgie Porgie shine through as the yokel he is.

10. Unfortunately, and I know that I will tick people off..
(and that's not my intention) but Clark's command and demeanor makes everyone appear like yokels compared to him. Granted, I'm biased.

Clark is in a unique position to say what he wants without being labeled (by the media). This is a very nice asset if he runs. He basically charms the shit out of eveyone so that even when he zings them, they are so dumbfounded, because they didn't expect it that they just shut their stupid mouths before them make themselves look bad.

13. West Point Debate Team
Yep...he was on it!

Assuming that you understand that Christopher Hedges was both against the war in Iraq and has since made many speeches in opposition, I found this today.

A point of interest...today I was mulling over buying "War is the Force that Gives Life Meaning" by Christopher Hedges. BTW, this is book I never thought I would be interested in until I heard Hedges speak. Anyway, checking through the index, I noticed Clark's name and turned to see the take Hedges registered on the general. The reference comes early in the book when he is setting up his thesis. The words went something like..."of course there are honorable warriors like General Wesley Clark." Hmmm. Flipping over the book, I noticed of the three testimonials on the back, the first was from was from Clark.

Clark is really a philosopher warrior. And no, I put the book back because a $20 paperback wasn't on my list; but moreover, I know from hearing Hedges that the book would be very draining. After Dr. Kelly's death today and yesterday's discussion of the OSP, I will be saving my emotional energy.
