Good Article on Libertarians and what they really believe in:

Good article in the New York Times which gets to the meat of the Libertarians who plan to take over New Hampshire. With the exception of drug deregulation, they are on the same page with Republicans:

"Mr. Somma, who grew up in Brooklyn, confessed that he and his wife moved for lifestyle reasons, too, not just political ones."

Her comments regarding public school is just way off. They're attacking the symptoms, but they don't have a clue about the real factors that keep the poor, poor.

Having just read Black Hawk Down, I was flabbergasted. Somali people in the book could not leave their homes (the men) because someone might break in and steal everything. The women left the home and walked all day getting water to cook the mealy-meal supper. Exageration, but it did not sound like a very nice place to live.

They also snag Economic Repukes who don't need the social agenda of the RR.

But in the end they are more dangerous. Holding to the same religious belief of Free Marketers on both the social and economic arenas they are leading the way to total consumption of the American public by the corporate entities.

It is a surprise to see how damaging their call for less government is creating an environment that empowers corporations, not individuals nor the public.
